Description

For July's #ColorsoftheMonth, we asked artist Rhiannon Owens to choose the color palette. We love her color picks of O2.4 (Golden Poppy), V2.4 (Violet), and Y2.2 (Daffodil). The July #COTM 3pc set includes a brush/chisel marker in each color.

About Rhiannon:

Rhiannon Owens is a professional illustrator who resides along the Gulf Coast. She has worked on properties that include Marvel, DC Comics, and Star Wars over the last fourteen years. The bulk of work has been done using alcohol-based markers and other mixed media for over two dozen trading card companies in five countries. She has traveled and appeared at shows like San Diego Comic-Con with her work. At several comic conventions, Rhiannon has spoken on or taught panels how to use and get the most out of the medium.


Interesting fact: Rhiannon was born in Japan and has native Ainu blood in her family heritage. Her Favorite thing to do outside of art is SLEEP! Favorite Snack: Kettle Cooked potato chips, Chocolate, OR Cookies.

About the #COTM art challenge:

We announce three colors from the OLO color palette on the first of each month. The challenge is to use one, two, or all three of that month's colors to create any piece of art - but no other colors! Blending the three colors will expand your palette; black and white do not count. Tag your #ColorsoftheMonth artwork so we can share and feature it on our social channels!

Marker bodies are color-coded for quick nib identification. For example, the black body color identifies the brush marker, and the dark gray color identifies the chisel marker. The white marker body is limited to the OLO ZERO (colorless solution). All OLO nibs work with all OLO Replacement Ink Cartridges and half-markers.

The OLO Brush/Chisel is a double-ended marker that features a brush nib and a chisel nib. Brush/chisel markers come ready to build for complete customization. In addition, a complimentary Connector Ring will be automatically added to your shopping cart when you add any brush/chisel marker.

One OLO half-marker has 2ml of ink, more than a standard alcohol marker. Utilize an OLO Connector Ring with any two half-markers for a double-ended marker with over 4ml of ink! Combine half-markers to create unique double-ended markers that feature your choice of colors and nibs. All OLO nibs work with all OLO half-markers.

*A complimentary Connector Ring will be automatically added to your shopping cart when you add any two half-markers.

REPLACEMENT INKS

Replacement Ink Cartridges hold 2ml of OLO alcohol ink. Marker caps, Nibs, and Connector Rings are not included with Replacement Ink Cartridge. However, additional OLO Connector Rings, replacement nibs, and other accessories are available. Marker bodies are color-coded for quick nib identification. All OLO nibs work with all OLO Replacement Ink Cartridges.
